Customize a Suggested Message template

  1. Click Add a Message.

  1. For Suggested Message Template Name, enter a name to help participants identify the purpose of this template from the Suggested Messages list.

  2. For Message Type, select the option that best describes the message type or select Other.

  3. For Message Stationery, keep None Selected to allow participants to choose their own stationery or select an option from the list. If Blank Stationery is selected, nothing will display in the margins.

  4. For Suggested Message Subject, enter the phrase to display in the subject field when a recipient receives your email.

    Tip: Try to use a phrase that will encourage your recipients to open the email and take action.

  5. For Subject Editing, select Make the Message Subject read-only to prevent participants from modifying the subject or select Allow participants to modify the Message Subject to allow participants to edit the subject.

  6. For Suggested Message Body Content, enter the body of the message. If the WYSIWYG editor is enabled, you can format your text and add images.

    Note: For help with the Content Editor, click the Help link or icon in the Content Editor window.

  7. For Message Body Editing, select:

    • Make the Message Body text read-only to prevent participants from modifying the content.

    • Make the Message Body text read-only but allow participants to add to it to allow participants to add content only.

    • Allow participants to modify the Message Body Text to allow participants to edit the content.

  8. Click Finish.
