Understanding Permissions Required for News Feeds
You can set permissions for both event administrators and event managers to create and manage news feeds.
Note: For information about creating a new Security Group, refer to the online help about managing security.
To set the permissions for an event administrator, you can create a new security group or add the permissions to an existing group (such as your Division Managers). You can actually have two different types of administrators those who can work with all news feeds created on your site and those who can work with only the news feeds they create. Both groups will automatically see all news feeds, but you can limit the ability of one group to only copying existing news feeds instead of editing the original if they did not create it.
To set the permissions for an event manager, you can create new event manager roles or add the permissions to an existing role. You can actually have different types of roles those event managers who can work with all news feeds created on your site, those who can work with only one of news feed types, and those who can work with only the news feeds they create. By default, the event managers will see only the news feeds for their events. They can check the checkbox to view all the news feeds for all events to view more.
