Understanding TeamRaiser Components

You can embed several different types of TeamRaiser components in page and email message content to keep the event fundraising information and data dynamically updated. Some updates happen periodically while others occur when the page is accessed or the mail message is sent.

You can insert the components using the Components utility from the content editor toolbar. An inserted component displays as a horizontal box with colored background and its component name in the WYSIWYG view of the content editor and as a session tag (or S-tag) or component tag (C-tag) in the source (or, plain text) view. If a component has selectable configuration options, you can right-click the component and edit the available options directly in the WYSIWYG view.

C-tags simply draw information from the event configuration and are not editable from the editor.

You can embed:

  • TeamRaiser event-specific components for placing details about the event, organization, coordinators and sponsors, milestones assigned within the event, and so on directly on pages to avoid updating this information in several places if it changes

  • TeamRaiser Components for placing:

    • Sponsorship logos on the Greeting page to acknowledge their support of the event

    • Participant Center in the event page wrapper

    • Status information about the top performers, amount raised, and number of donations and registrants in an event

  • TeamRaiser Search components for placing search fields on pages to help people locate participants and events

  • National Company Status for placing information about the top performing events, teams, and participants in the various TeamRaiser events they are involved with

  • A link to a downloadable offline gift form on the Default Personal Page for participants to use to process gifts they receive in hand directly from donors
