To test the upload file to be sure it will upload and process records correctly
From the top of an Admin page, click Fundraising > TeamRaiser.
On the TeamRaisers list page, click the Uploads tab.
From the Related Actions on the Upload List page, click Upload Survey Responses.
On the Configure Parameters page:
For Upload Name, enter a new label for this file to make it easier for administrators to identify in the Upload List. If you do not enter a new label, the system will assign the time stamp that corresponds to the date and time you uploaded the file.
For Test Mode Only, click the No, do not process records checkbox to be sure it contains a checkmark.
For Overwrite Mode, click the checkbox to have values from this file overwrite any values already recorded in a participant or constituent record. Any columns left blank in the file will erase an existing value and leave the field blank in the record.
Click Next.
On the Upload File page:
Click Browse to navigate to and Open the file.
To verify that the file is the correct file, click Preview.
After verifying that the first five lines of the file are correct, click Finish.
When the file has finished uploading, click Review from the Actions column to determine the number of records uploaded, records updated or overwritten, and so on.
On the Upload Results page, if the uploaded file:
Contains errors:
Click Download Errors from the Actions column.
On the File Download pop-up, click the Open button.
Scroll to the right to view the ERROR_CODES column.
From Related Actions on the Upload List page, click View Error Codes for assistance interpreting the codes.
Fix your errors and save the modified CSV file.
Repeat the steps above until you are satisfied that the file is ready for processing.
Is Complete without errors, click Finish.
