Deactivate or Reactivate Registrations

You can make a participant inactive so that the person is unable to log into the Participant Center and access their Personal Page.

A deactivated participant is also removed from the:

  • Group of participants for the event

  • List of pending autoresponders for the event

  • Search results when donors, potential team members, and other site visitors perform searches

Note: Some reports such as Participant Performance, Participant Registration, Event Check-In, and Summary include the participant as inactive when the registration status affects the information.

If the participant is a Team Captain, you should designate another team member as Team Captain before you inactivate the registration.

Once a participant is inactive, you can delete the record from the database entirely or you can leave the record in the Inactive state in case the participant may become Active later on.

Make a participant inactive or active

  1. From the top of an Admin page, select Fundraising > TeamRaiser.

  2. On the TeamRaisers List page, select Manage from the Action column of the appropriate event.

  3. Enter the name of the participant in the name fields and click Search This TeamRaiser.

  4. Click the participant's name from the Participant List to view the participant's profile.

  5. On the profile page Status field, select either Make Inactive or Make Active.

  6. If a payment is associated with the registration, select whether to refund it or convert it to a gift that is soft-credited to the event.

  7. Select Confirm in the new window.
