To create a public event type

  1. From the top of any Administrator page, click Fundraising > TeamRaiser.

  2. From the tabs along the top of the TeamRaisers list page, click the Public Event Types tab.

  3. On the Public Event Types list page, click Create a Public Event Type.

  4. On the Provide Details page, for Public Event Type Name, enter a label that will help your constituents identify the events gathered in this group (for example, Marathons or the name of the program).

  5. For Primary Event Type, click the appropriate option from the Existing Value drop-down list, or click the Enter a new value option and enter the name of the Primary Event Type to associate this Public Event Type with.

    Note: You can use the same name for both entries.

  6. Click Finish.
