Controlling Access to the Interactions Tab
The Interactions tab in each Constituent Profile lists all of the interactions that the constituent has had with your site. Normally, only administrators with access to Sensitive Data (the highest role in Contact Management) will be able to see this tab and access these Interactions. However, if you would like to grant access to administrators with lesser contact management roles, contact support to enable the following site option:
CONS_INTERACTION_TAB_ENABLED – When set to TRUE, this SDP makes the Interactions tab of the constituent profile visible to administrators with the following administrator role: Contact Management > View Non-sensitive Contact Data No Tasks No Reports (or any role that is ranked higher. See Contact Management Roles.
With this SDP enabled, administrators who have the Contact Management > View Non-sensitive Contact Data No Tasks No Reports role will be able to do all of the following:
View the Interactions Tab in each Constituent360 profile
View the Emails Sent (using the link on the Interactions page)
View the Interaction History
Enter a new Interaction
Essentially then, with this site option enabled, lower-level Contact Management administrators can do everything that the highest level administrator can do with respect to the Interactions tab.
Center Implications (for those using MultiCenter): No difference from non-center administrators – except the Center admin in Center mode will see only the interactions relating to that center.
