Supported Terminals

MobilePay Terminal supports several terminal devices. Each device is EMV-certified, uses Bluetooth Low Energy to connect, and supports chip and contactless payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and most tap-to-pay cards.

You must purchase your terminals through Blackbaud. To order terminals, sign in to the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal and select Terminal devices, then Order terminals. For more information, see Order terminals and accessories.

The M2 is a small, robust card reader that accepts chip, contactless, and swipe payments. For device info, visit the M2 product sheet.

The WisePad 3 is a handheld reader that features a color LCD display and PIN pad, and accepts chip and contactless payments. For device info, visit the WisePad 3 product sheet.

Note: While MobilePay Terminal still supports the BBPOS Chipper, you can no longer purchase it from Blackbaud. US customers who need mobile card readers should order new M2™ terminals instead.

Tip: MobilePay Terminal displays the terminal's status and battery power indicator on the Payment screen.

Note: When available, MobilePay Terminal prompts you to apply device software updates to ensure your terminal is up to date.
