About International Vetting
Nonprofit organizations that are interested in becoming a part of the YourCause Global Good Network must first be vetted to ensure they are eligible to receive donations. Organizations based outside of the United States must complete an International Nonprofit Vetting Application as part of this process. You can find more information in the sections below.
What is vetting?
To expand the reach of our corporate donors, YourCause partners with the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF), a 501(c)3 Charity. In some cases, the Blackbaud Giving Fund needs to complete an evaluation process to enable a charity to be eligible for giving through YourCause's platform. For organizations outside of the United States, we refer to this evaluation process as Equivalency Determination (ED) vetting, and it is essential to our charitable giving model. The Blackbaud Giving Fund exercises appropriate discretion, control, and oversight over both funds and funding decisions as required by US law.
Who is YourCause, and what is the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF)?
YourCause coordinates employee engagement with nonprofits for Fortune 500 companies. We have processed over $3 Billion in donations to charitable organizations through gift matching, philanthropy, and corporate grant programs.
The Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) is a US incorporated, 501(c )3 not-for-profit organization that powers philanthropy by connecting donors and charities. We partner with technology platforms to receive donations securely and efficiently from generous donors and deliver grants to charities making an impact around the world.
Our charitable giving model focuses on the needs of donors and charities which allows us to maximize the impact of charitable giving.

How does connecting with YourCause help your organization?
The value of having your charity represented in the YourCause + Blackbaud platform is significant. This will expand the reach and visibility of your mission to countless potential donors, corporate matches, or grants. We are here to help you begin this process if access to resources, donations, and visibility would benefit your organization!
How can your organization get vetted?
There are several ways you can initiate the vetting process:
-
An Administrator for your organization can sign in to Blackbaud Verified Network and start the International Vetting Application, or
-
Another organization may request that your organization become vetted so that their employees can donate to you.
The full steps for completing your International Vetting Application can be found here.
Are there special requirements for organizations that may not be eligible to complete this application?
Organizations based in the countries listed below may be required to be vetted by our processing partners instead of completing the International Vetting Application in Blackbaud Verified Network.
-
Canada
-
Germany
-
Northern Ireland
-
Scotland
-
United Kingdom
Note: For more information, see International Processing Partners.
In addition, nonprofit organizations that have been in existence for less than five (5) years should contact YourCause Support by completing the Nonprofit Platform Service Inquiry form to assist with vetting instead of completing this application.
