Update Your Name, Email Address, and Password in Blackbaud ID

Your name, email address, and password are managed in your Blackbaud ID (BBID) account.

Tip: If you sign in with Google or Apple, update this information in your Google or Apple account instead.

Before you start

Sign in to your Blackbaud ID account at app.blackbaud.com. Not that this is the website where you manage your credentials. This is not the Blackbaud Verified Network website.

Update your name

1. After signing in to your Blackbaud ID account, go to Personal Information.

2. Select the pencil icon.

   

3. Edit your first name and last name.

4. Save your changes.

Change your email address

1. After signing in to your Blackbaud ID account, go to Blackbaud ID.

2. In the Blackbaud ID section, select the ellipsis, then Edit BBID email address.

   

3. Enter your password to confirm your identity.

4. Enter your new email address.

5. Select Send confirmation code. A confirmation email is sent to your new address.

6. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the update.

Reset your password

1. After signing in to your Blackbaud ID account, go to Blackbaud ID.

2. In the Blackbaud ID section, select the ellipsis, then Edit password.

   

3. Enter your password to confirm your identity.

4. Enter your new password.

5. Save your changes.

Tip: Your updates appear in Blackbaud Verified Network the next time you sign in.
