Administer Inactive Organizations
There are several reasons an organization may show as inactive in NPOconnect, including request for deactivation, dissolution of the organization, removal from Communities in CSRconnect, or not responding for 90 days following disbursement suspension.
Administrators for inactive nonprofits can view the organization's account as read-only. When inactive, you cannot perform specific actions, including:
-
Set up and modify ACH banking information
-
Submit a vetting application
-
Modify the disbursement address
-
Add or edit volunteer events
-
Add a chapter
-
Request a check reissue
-
Request to become a Nonprofit Administrator
Note: If you believe your organization was deactivated in error, contact NPOconnect Support using the Nonprofit Platform Service Inquiry form.
