Why did you receive a check?

YourCause facilitates giving, volunteering, and grantmaking for companies around the world. Through our solutions, donors can easily give to the causes that mean the most to them – including yours!

In the US, our donations are processed through a donor-advised fund (DAF) like the Blackbaud Giving Fund (BBGF) which then distributes the donation to your charity. If you received a check from YourCause and the Blackbaud Giving Fund, it means that someone (or multiple people) donated to your organization.

What should you do with the check?

Once you receive a check from us, you can cash it or put it in the bank and use it to support your mission. As part of the donation process, the Blackbaud Giving Fund has issued a receipt to the donor on your behalf.

How do you find out more about your donors?

If you'd like more information about the donors who contributed to your nonprofit in CSRconnect or GrantsConnect, you can sign up for NPOconnect at nonprofit.yourcause.com and claim your nonprofit. Through this process, you can register to administer your nonprofit which will allow you to view donor details, manage your nonprofit's information, opt for ACH payments, and more.

What is NPOconnect?

NPOconnect is the free portal for nonprofit organizations through which you can be part of YourCause’s Global Good Network of over 8 million prospective donors and volunteers. YourCause connects corporations and their employees to nonprofit organizations around the globe via our CSRconnect and GrantsConnect platforms. Employees of these corporations can make donations and log volunteer hours to nonprofits, and often-times, the corporations match these donations or provide volunteer grants in recognition of their employees’ service. With NPOconnect, you can manage the nonprofit information we share with the Global Good Network as well as review the donations and volunteer hours our users contribute to your nonprofit.

To view your donations, we encourage you to sign up for NPOconnect and claim your nonprofit. After registering as a Nonprofit Administrator for your organization, you can manage donations and grant payments that you receive through YourCause’s CSRconnect and GrantsConnect solutions.
