Use check details to verify payment information, support deposit reconciliation, and maintain accurate donor records. Check details you can view from the gift record include:

• Check number

• Check date

• Bank for the bank or financial institution where the account is based

When you add a gift by check in the web view, you can save the check's number and date.

Tip: To track the bank for a check, edit the gift in the database view.
