Gift Flow from Donation Forms to Raiser’s Edge NXT

When a donor submits a gift through a donation form, Raiser's Edge NXT routes gifts in one of two ways:

• Online Data Review: If you enable transaction review, you must manually review gifts before they automatically enter a batch. You can choose to review all transactions or only those with unmatched constituents. When gifts need a review, a prompt appears under Needs attention in Gifts, Overview.

• Automatic Batch: If you enable automatic constituent matching in Online data review, Raiser's Edge NXT matches gifts to constituents and sends them directly to a batch without manual review.

Raiser's Edge NXT automatically groups the gifts into batches based on:

• Source

• Date

• Payment method

• Payment configuration

Each batch includes a descriptive label, such as:

Donation forms transactions from 25 Jun 2025 – Credit Card payments processed with Main Account.

Approve the batches to create gift records.

Tip: For reporting on gifts submitted through donation forms, Donation Form Name, Donation Forms Referral URL, and Donation Transaction ID are automatically added to custom fields for one-time and recurring gift payments.
