Fields
To gather details about donors, such as their phone numbers and whether they'd like to give anonymously, add fields to Standard Donation Forms.
From Online Giving, Overview, create or edit a Standard Form. Under Form, select a field in Fields in the Form designer, move it to the form, and configure it.
Note: To edit default fields and those you've added, hover over the section to change and select Click to edit. The Address field can be removed, but you can't configure it.

To ensure you collect up-to-date information from donors, Address is on Standard Donation Forms by default.

To enable donors to give anonymously, move Anonymous gift from the Form designer. When a gift is given anonymously, Anonymous displays on the gift record.

To let donors choose specific communications they're interested in receiving, you can add Consent options from the Form designer. For more information, see Raiser's Edge NXT - Consent.

To collect information about your donors, such as the number of family members in their households, add custom fields to your forms. You can add a field only once to a form, but you can add it to multiple forms, change its label, and choose whether a response is required. The types of fields available for Standard Forms are:

Tip: The Yes/No field is a checkbox. When a donor leaves it unchecked on a form, a "No" response is recorded.

Note: In the database view, custom fields are called attributes. You can configure them in Attributes from Configuration. After configuring an attribute you can add it to a Standard Donation Form. If a field is set to only allow one per record, any existing data in the field is overwritten. For more information, seeRaiser's Edge NXT - Custom Fields.

To enable donors to add more information about their gift, move Gift comments to your form and choose whether to make it required. Donor-entered comments display on the

To enable businesses and other organizations to support your online giving initiatives, add Organization gift to your form. After a donor submits a gift on behalf of an organization, the form applies the donation to the organization’s constituent record and the gift appears in Gift management.

To capture donors phone numbers so you can reach out and thank them for their gifts, add Phone to your donation forms and choose whether to make it required.
Tip: To set the phone type for constituents, select the phone mapping to configure from Settings, Tools, Form settings. To learn more about the phone mapping and the other settings, see Form Settings.

With the optional Honor/Memorial Tracking module, you can give donors an opportunity to dedicate their gift to a person or cause on Standard Donation Forms. The information collected by the form appears on the gift. To learn how to manage and track tributes, see Tributes.
After you add Tribute to your form from Fields in the Form designer, under Conditions you can choose the types of tributes you want to support on the form.
Tip: To update the types of tributes available, from Settings, Tables, and select Tribute Types.

To choose whether to collect mail and email information about honorees and their family and friends, update the option under Notifications.
Tip: If you choose Send mail and email or Send mail, you can update the Notification checkbox label text.

Note: Recipients are known as acknowledgees in Raiser's Edge NXT.
