Email Builder
To include the messaging and style for marketing and confirmation messages, use the Email builder where you create email content.
To move different content sections to the layout and refine your message, select Content.
Note: To edit default content, such as in a template, hover over the section to change in the layout and select Edit . You can also select Duplicate to copy a section.

Button — To add a button, move Button to the layout and enter the URL to use for the link. Next, enter the button text, set the style, and select Apply.
Tip: Need to align a button within a column? Highlight the column, select Style under Email builder, and then select how to align it in the Horizontal alignment field.

Text only — To add text, move Text only to the layout, use the editor to compose your message, and then select Apply. For more information, see Text Content.
Tip: To personalize the message, select Merge where you want to include a recipient’s information, and then select the field.

Divider line — A divider line can separate sections of your email and help add visual appeal. To add one, move Divider line to the layout, set its style and select Apply.

Image — To add an image, move Image only, Image left, Image right, or Image top to the layout and choose the image to use. You can add new images to the library or search for existing files.
Note: You can use image files in PNG, GIF, or JPG format.
Under Image options, set the image size, alternative text, and link for the image. For images with text, under Text options, choose an image alignment and enter your text. Next, select Apply.

Image size — To edit the image size, select Best fit to have the image fill the width of the content area or select Set width and enter the width in the Pixels field.
Note: The maximum width depends on the width and padding of the column where you add it in the layout. To change the padding for a column, highlight it and select Style under Email builder. In the Padding field, choose how much space to add between the content with the column and the borders.
Tip: To prevent mailbox providers from imposing their own image sizes, size all images before you add them to your email as some mailbox providers rely on the true dimensions of the image instead of the specified dimensions.

Image alt text — Alternative text displays when a mailbox provider blocks images — a common default setting — or when recipients choose not to show email images. Enter brief, but descriptive, text to increase your recipients' trust in your email and improve the likelihood they'll allow their mailbox provider to download your images.

Image link — To link to a web page from an image, enter its URL in the field.

Image alignment — To include text with an image, choose an image alignment, and use the editor to enter the text.

Social — To set the links and styles to use as the default social media information for your organization, move Social to the layout, configure the details, and select Apply.

Display style — Choose how to arrange your social media links.

— Vertically, with a short message next to each icon.
Tip: To align icons in a column, highlight the column and select Style under Email builder. Next, select how to align them in the Horizontal alignment field.

Social links — Select Add another link and choose a social media option from the menu or select Custom to use an unlisted option. Next, enter the link to your organization’s social media profile and select Apply.

The layout of an email message is made up of columns. Depending on where you create messages, select the number of columns to use and how to arrange them before you design your message, or start with a default layout.
To change the layout, select Columns and move additional columns where you want them to appear. Each set of columns adds a new row to the layout. For example, if you select 3 columns, they appear together horizontally in the layout.
After you add columns, select Content under Email builder and move content to the columns.
Select Style to customize the look-and-feel of your email and each column within the layout.

Font — Choose the font for the overall message and its individual columns.

To set the style and size of the text for the entire message, choose them in the Font and Size fields under All styles.

To set the style and size of the text for a selected column, choose them in the Font and Size fields under Column style.
Note: A selected column inherits the font from the overall message unless you select a different one for it.

To set the color of the text for a selected column, choose it in the Font color field under Column style.

Backgrounds — Choose the background colors of the overall message and its individual columns.

To set the background color outside of the layout's container, choose the color in the Canvas field under All styles.

To set the background color for the entire message inside the layout's container, choose the color in the Body field under All styles.

To set the background color for a selected column, choose the color in the Background color field.
To choose a color, select it from the color picker or enter its RGB or hexadecimal values, and select Apply.

Spacing and alignment — Choose how much space to include between the edges of a selected column and its content. Also, choose how to align content within a column.

Padding — Add 30 pixels or less of padding to the selected column.

Horizontal alignment — Adjust the content to left, center, or right.

Vertical alignment — Adjust the content to top, middle, or bottom.
