Gift Aid Management
With Gift Aid, you can claim back 25p every time an individual donates £1 to your charity if they've made a Gift Aid declaration. From Fundraising, Gift Aid Management, you can create new claims to claim Gift Aid for several gifts at once. You can also monitor the status of your claims, enter claim settings, and set up rules to automatically disqualify certain gifts from claims. See Gift Aid all claims, Gift Aid claim settings, and Gift Aid rules for more information.
Under Needs attention, review any donations or refunds that require attention.
Under Gift Aid processing funnel, review the progress of your submitted claims.

Before you generate a claim, for all unclaimed gifts, you can update the status of gift records in bulk and update the tax eligibility on donor records to ensure all the gifts are eligible to claim.
To update the gift status and donor tax declarations
-
Under Include records, leave the default of all records, or select Selected records to open a list of saved gift lists to select from.
-
Under Gift Dates, enter a time frame of gifts to update.
-
For all unclaimed gifts, choose to either update both the gift record (which updates the Gift Aid status to Qualified) and the donor record (which creates a new tax eligibility under Declarations), or just update the donor record (which creates a new tax eligibility under Declarations).
Note: Note: Donors can have multiple tax eligibilities on their record. This creates a new tax edibility but doesn't override the others.
-
Select whether or not to include gifts already posted to the general ledger.
-
Select Update.
