Complete Payment
As you design a registration form, configure the complete payment fields so registrants can select their party hosts, enter their billing information, and complete registration payments. All payment fields are required except address and phone fields.
Note: For free events, the default label for the Complete payment section is Complete registration.
To manage the required payment fields for a form, open an event record. Under Online registration forms, add or edit a form and then select Form. On the registration form, hover over the fields under Complete payment and select Click to edit. To add optional fields, from the Form builder, select Build, Complete payment and move the fields to the form.
From the Complete payment section, the registrant indicates the person to charge or contact about the registration. They can select from a list of registrants, or enter a different person. To edit the labels for this section, see Person Paying for Registration Selector.
Note: The person selected in this section is known as the host of the registration party.
Billing address fields aren't required, however, you may want to include them to capture addresses for registrants who register and pay on behalf of other participants, but don’t select registration fees for themselves.
To edit the billing address fields:

Hover over the billing address section on the form and select Click to edit.

Select Required to make the address fields required for the person paying for the registration.

If necessary, edit the text for the labels. Under Preview, review how your changes will appear on the form.

Select Done.
The billing email address is required because the registration form uses it for the email confirmation.
To edit the email address field:

Hover over the billing email section on the form and select Click to edit.

If necessary, edit text for the label. Under Preview, review how your changes will appear on the form.

Note: The email address entered here will receive the registration's confirmation email. See Online Registration Form Confirmations.
Pay securely is a required field for all registration forms and can't be removed. When a user selects it, it opens up the Blackbaud Checkout options for them to complete their payment.
Note: The registration is complete when the registrant selects Finish and pay after entering their Blackbaud Checkout details.
For free events, a Register button appears instead of Pay securely.
Include consent option fields to give registrants the opportunity to choose specific communications they're interested in receiving from your organization. Manage which options are available from the database view, and then configure them on the registration form. For more information, see Registration Form Consent Options.
