Major giving likelihood

Major giving likelihood provides the prospect’s willingness and capacity to give more than $10,000 in the next 12 months to your organization, represented as a score of Excellent, Very good, Good, or Low.

Prospect Insights considers factors besides wealth to determine a constituent’s major giving likelihood, including the amount, frequency, and recency of gifts to your organization and others. In addition to capacity, the constituent must demonstrate a high willingness to give to your organization. Specifically, the main factors used to determine Major giving likelihood are:

  • Giving history

  • Giving to other organizations

  • Wealth data

  • Socioeconomic data

Additional factors are considered to improve the projection's accuracy.
