Constituent updates from Luminate Online integration
Updated constituent records in Luminate Online require manual review and authorization before they can sync to Raiser's Edge NXT. In contrast, updates made in Raiser's Edge NXT flow automatically to Luminate Online. New records created in Raiser's Edge NXT also generate corresponding records in Luminate Online.
All constituents, including inactive and deceased, are linked across both systems.

Constituent information
Integration between Raiser’s Edge NXT and Luminate Online maps specific constituent fields. While a full list of mapped fields is available, the primary types include:
-
Biographical
-
Preferred address
-
Spouse details
-
Primary business
Changes in Luminate Online, whether made by a constituent or admin, get routed to the Constituent details section for you to review and process.
Constituent types
Constituent records from Luminate Online are categorized into three tabs based on their relationship to Raiser’s Edge NXT records:
Linked – Updates apply to an existing linked record in Raiser’s Edge NXT.
Matched – A potential match is identified, possibly indicating a duplicate.
Unmatched – No associated record exists in Raiser’s Edge NXT and will likely be added as a new record.
An All tab displays constituents from all three categories.
Email and phone handling
When a new email address or phone number is added to a linked constituent in Luminate Online and synced to Raiser’s Edge NXT, the system automatically sets the new entry as “Primary” if a duplicate type already exists.
For example, if a new Mobile phone number is added and the record already contains one, the new number becomes Primary, and the previous one is moved to the bottom of the list, assuming your business rules allow duplicates. Duplicate types are permitted as long as the values differ.

When reviewing an individual constituent, their data is organized into up to five tabs:
-

-

-

Not all tabs appear for every constituent. Tabs show when the corresponding data type exists in Luminate Online.
