Key Metric Designer
Key metrics displays a customized stat from your fundraising goal, including: amount raised, number of donations, percent of goal, or amount remaining. You can customize the key metric's style to match your website. After you embed it on your website, any future changes you make to the metric update automatically.
You can use either a gift list or a donation form as the source of donations for a key metric. When a gift list is the source, the gifts must be approved in batch to be included in the metric's total. After approval, it may take up to 30 minutes for your embedded metric to update.
When a donation form is the source of a metric, the total is updated shortly after the donation is processed via the form. Donor cover fees are included in the metric. For more information, see Fee Coverage. Changes made to the donation after the initial transaction, such as a refund, are not reflected in the metric. For recurring gifts received through the donation form, only the first gift is included in the metric.

Enter an internal name for the key metric.

Set a goal amount.

Select a Source of donations for the key metric: a donation form or a gift list.

Select a gift date range for the key metric.

Style the font, font size, and font color of the key metric.

Select Save and Next.
Warning: To ensure that your key metric can load and update, don't select a gift list that was set to private.

Review the styling of the key metrics.

Select Copy under the key metric you want to embed on your website.

Paste the goal meter code on your website. You only need to embed the key metric once. Any future changes appear automatically after you select Save.
Note: The key metric's initial upload may take several minutes to load the data from the gift list. It will display 0 on your website until it finishes loading.
