View and upload files

To add a new file to the Uploaded Files grid:

Go to Site, Files.

Select Choose File, then locate the file to upload. Ensure the name of your file follows these guidelines:

Including all file extensions, there can only be one period in a file's name. For example, filename.csv.zip is not allowed.

File names can contain only lower- and upper-case letters, numbers, hyphen (-), underscore (_), and spaces

Select Upload New File.
Tip: To update a system file, upload a new file and delete the old file.

To share files with in emails, banner messages, questions, and other places throughout your system:

Go to Site, Files.

In the Status column, make sure that the file is Public. If the status is Private, select Make Public in the Actions column.

Private: Site Administrators can download a file with its Download link

Public: Other administrators and non-administrators can access a file through a URL

In the Status column, select Copy Link.

Use this link when creating your question, communication, or description.

Navigate to Site, Files.

In the Actions column, select X.

In the confirmation message, select OK.
Tip: When you delete a file, check your system's questions and communications. You may need to remove old links.
