Request impact statements
Request impact statements to invite recipients into your system to fill out a survey.

Before you can request impact statements from recipients, the following must be true:

The opportunity start date has passed

Recipients and impact statements have been associated with your opportunity (see Import recipients for more information)

The Recipient Invitation Instructions email must be set to deliver Immediately or Upon Approval
Note: Impact statements appear in the Queued category when they are created; on the morning of the opportunity start date, the system automatically moves them to the Requested category.

To trigger invitation emails, you can:

Immediately move these statements to the Requested category

Wait until your system automatically moves these statements to the Requested category on the opportunity start date
Once your system creates these invitation emails, it delivers them according to your settings for the Recipient Invitation Instructions email (accessed through Site, Communications, Message Templates):

If the Delivery Time is set to Immediately, the system checks for impact statements that moved to the Requested category in the last 24 hours before sending invitation emails to recipients

If the Delivery Time is set to Upon Approval, the system generates an email in Site, Communications, User Messages
To approve these messages, select one or more emails and select Act on Selected, Distribute

Note: If you wait for the system to move impact statements from Queued to Requested, your emails may take up to 24 hours to be delivered or added to the User Messages queue.
