JustGiving Livestreaming

With JustGiving Livestreaming, you can collect donations for your favorite cause while you stream games or hobbies. All you need is:

A JustGiving fundraising or crowdfunding — yours, or someone else's
A streaming account, such as Twitch, Facebook Gaming, or other service
Broadcast software to create overlays, such as OBS Studio, Elgato, or other software

Set up JustGiving Livestreaming

To set up your JustGiving Livestreaming, link your streaming account to the JustGiving fundraising or crowdfunding, and choose the Donate button and overlays to display in your channel.

In JustGiving Livestreaming, select Select page.
Sign in using Facebook, Twitch or email credentials.
Choose the active JustGiving fundraiser or crowdfunding page and donation defaults to use.
1. Choose whether to collect donations for your own goal or someone else's.
  - To collect for your own fundraising or crowdfunding page, Sign in with JustGiving, select Select page, select My Page, choose which fundraising or crowdfunding page to use, and select Save.
  - To collect for someone else's fundraising or crowdfunding page, select Someone else's, enter the URL for their JustGiving page, and select Save.
2. Set the default currency and amount for donations.
3. Select Save.
Tip: To use a different fundraising or crowdfunding page, or update the donation defaults, select Edit selection. To raise funds for someone else instead of yourself (or vice versa), select Clear selection and choose who to collect donations for. For more information, see Donation Defaults.
Add a Donate button to your Twitch channel.
1. Design an image for your button. You can ask your organization for an image that promotes the event, make one using a design program, or choose a royalty-free clip art image.
2. Under Your donation link, copy the URL to your donation page.
3. In your Twitch account, add an info panel for the button using the image and link.
To enhance the fundraising or crowdfunding effort, add and design additional overlays — such as a progress bar and alert box — to your livestream. See Overlays and Widgets.
