Add Designations to Donation Forms
Designations ensure every gift has a clear financial purpose. Donation forms require at least one designation so gifts go to the right area of financial need.
Optimized Donation Forms
Add designations to Optimized Donation Forms

From Online Giving, Donation forms, select an Optimizzed Form to edit or create a new one.

From Donation, select one or more designations to include on the form under Designations.

If there is only one designation on the form, it doesn't display to donors.

If there are multiple designations on a form, donors can choose the one they want to support.
Note: Donors can only choose one designation because Optimized Donation Forms don't support splitting gifts across multiple designations.
Tip: After you add multiple designations to the form, you can change the designations display names and move them to an order you prefer under Designation list.

Continue to edit the form and save it.
Change labels and order of designations on an Optimized Donation Form
If you include more than one designation on a donation form, you can change the labels and the order the designations appear on the form.

From Online Giving, Donation forms, select an Optimizzed Form to edit or create a new one.

From Donation, under Designations list,

Labels, select to Use default names or Set labels to change what displays to donors.

Sort order, select to sort from A to Z or Set order to move the designations in a different order to display to donors.

Continue to configure the form or save it.
Standard Donation Forms
Add designations to Standard Donation Forms

From Online Giving, Donation forms, select a Standard Form to edit or create a new one.

From Get started, select one or more designations under Designations.

If there is only one designation on the form, it doesn't display to donors.

If there are multiple designations on a form, donors can choose the one they want to support.
Tip: To allow donor to split their gift across multiple funds, select Enable donors to split gifts between designations.
Tip: After you add multiple designations to the form, you can rearrange them and add donor-friendly labels. Under Form, select Click to edit on the designation field on the form. Under Designation list, choose whether to use the default names or set new labels and change the order. When you choose select Set order, you are able to drag the designations to the order you want.

If you include more than one designation on a donation form, you can change the labels and the order the designations appear on the form.

From Online Giving, Donation forms, select a Standard Form to edit or create a new one.

From Form, hover over the designation field and select Click to edit.

Under Labels you can change the:

Designation label that displays as the field label where the donor chooses the area to support.

Designation placeholder text that displays within the designation field.

Under Designations list.

Labels, select to Use default names or Set labels to change what displays to donors.

Sort order, select to sort from A to Z or Set order to move the designations in a different order to display to donors.

Select Done and continue to configure the form or save it.
