Understand Giving Trends for Donation Forms
The Performance summary enables you to track results across all donation forms. From Online Giving, Overview, you can view the results under Performance summary.
Use the chart to compare your fundraising performance across a period of time, by gift type, and amount raise versus . These charts help you evaluate a specific time period of activity, identify seasonal patterns, and monitor progress toward your goals.
Tip: To change the time period for the charts, you can filter by Time range and Gift type.
What the Performance Summary Displays
The charts displays two lines, one for each time period you filter for. Each point represents the totals for a specific month. When you select a point, the chart shows the following details:

Amount raised

Average gift amount
-
Number of gifts
These values help you understand how donor behavior changes throughout the time period you chose.
Note: Changes made to a gift after the initial transaction, such as a refund are not reflected in the charts.
How to Use the Performance Summary Data
The charts and summary details can help you answer questions such as:

Understand Giving Trends for a Donation Form
The Summary helps you understand how an individual donation form is performing. From Online Giving, Donation forms, select a form and view its results under Summary.
The summary displays the ongoing total performance across all donation forms.

Gifts shows the total amount raised from the form. It includes one‑time gifts and the first payment from recurring gifts.

One-time gifts shows the total amount raised from one-time donations.

One-time transactions reflects completed one-time donation transactions.

First recurring gift payments shows the total collected from the first payment of each new recurring gift. It includes only the initial payment submitted through the form.

First recurring transactions reflects new recurring gifts created through the form. It includes only the first payment a donor submits when they start a recurring gift.

Conversion rate reflects how many visitors completed a donation after viewing the form.

Transactions reflect completed donations.

Page view reflect how many times supporters viewed the form.

Saved in processing fees shows the estimated fees your organization did not pay because Blackbaud and donors covered fees for eligible transactions.
