Fee Coverage
Raise more through your donation forms by enabling fee coverage options.

Complete Cover™ lets Blackbaud pay the fee for each transaction up to $3,000. In exchange, we ask the supporter to give toward Blackbaud’s service, which eliminates your processing fee. Regardless of whether a donor gives toward our service, your organization doesn't pay processing fees for eligible gifts given through a Complete Cover–enabled form.
Note: You're responsible for paying the fee for each transaction equal to or greater than $3,000 through a Complete Cover-enabled form.
What's eligible:
-
When enabled on Standard Forms, Complete Cover displays for donations paid by card, direct debit, and Apple Pay. It doesn't display if a donation is $3,000 or more or if it’s paid by PayPal or Venmo; your organization pays the fees for ineligible transactions.
Note: For Apple Pay, only one-time transactions are currently eligible for fee coverage on Standard Forms.
-
When enabled on Optimized Forms, Complete Cover displays for donations paid by card, direct debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. If a donation is $3,000 or more or is paid by PayPal or Venmo, donor cover displays instead.
Note: For direct debit and PayPal, only one-time transactions are currently eligible for fee coverage on Optimized Forms.

Donor cover lets donors cover the processing fee so 100% of their donation goes directly to you. Blackbaud automatically calculates the fee for each transaction and adds it to the gift amount. The full amount is tax-deductible. Your organization is responsible for paying transaction fees that aren't covered by donors.
Tip: For information on how the fee is calculated, see this Knowledgebase article.
