Comments for Donation Forms

Capture supporter provided details when you add the comments field to donation forms. The comments display on the payment record and can provide context that supports stewardship and reporting.

Add Comments to a Standard Donation Form

For the supporters, comments appear on the Thank you email and message in the transaction details.

From Online Giving, select Donation forms :

1. Create a new form or select a form to edit.

2. From Form, select and move Gift comments from Fields in the Form designer.

3. Edit the label and placeholder text.

4. If you want to require donors to give comments, select Make this field required.

5. Select Done.

Add Comments to an Optimized Donation Form

For the supporters, comments appear on the Thank you email in the transaction details.

From Online Giving, select Donation forms:

1. Create a new form or select a form to edit.

2. From Donation, select Comments under Additional options.

3. Continue editing the form or save it.
