Map Cards and Wallets to Your CRM

To connect gifts to your CRM, you must choose the credit card types in your CRM that map to the card types in Online Giving.

  1. In Online Giving, from Settings, select Preferences.

  2. From Cards and wallets, select the card type from your CRM that matches with:

    • American Express

    • Diner's Club, Discover, JCB

    • Mastercard

    • Visa

  3. Optionally, to track digital wallets as a revenue reference on the payment record in Blackbaud CRM, select Track wallet type.

  4. Select Save.

Note: Digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay appear as credit card payments in Blackbaud CRM.

  1. In Online Giving, from Settings, select Preferences.

  2. From Cards and wallets, select the card type from your CRM that matches with:

    • American Express

    • Diner's Club, Discover, JCB

    • Mastercard

    • Visa

  3. For PayPal and Venmo, select the other payment method types to map from Altru to Online Giving.

    Note: PayPal and Venmo payments automatically appears as "other" payments in Altru.

  4. Optionally, to track digital wallets as a revenue reference on the payment record in Altru, select Track wallet type.

  5. Select Save.

Tip: To manage other payment method types, you can filter the revenue category from Code Tables in Altru.
