Designation Search Designer

Designation searches are Website Components that display a list of designations that a donor can search through and donate to directly. You can customize the style of the designation names and donate buttons to match your website. The donate buttons redirect donors to a hosted URL where they can complete their donation through the form to the designation of their choice.

Design a designation search

  1. Enter an internal name for the designation search.

  2. Select the designations that you want users to be able to search for and donate to.

  3. Select a donation form that donors will use to complete their donation. The form applies the donation to whichever designation the user selects in the Designation search.

  4. Enter the text that will display on the donate button.

  5. Enter the text that will display on the search field.

  6. Select Save and Next.

Style your designation search

  1. Choose a font, size, and color for the text of the designation name.

  2. Choose the size and color of the designation's border, and the designation background.

  3. Choose the styling for the donation button that displays next to each designation name.

  4. Select Save and Next.

Preview and embed a designation search

  1. Under Preview, review the designation search's styling and text.

  2. Under Embed, select Copy to copy your designation search's code.

  3. Paste the designation search code on your website. You only need to embed it once. Any future changes appear automatically after you select Save.
