Buy Now Give Now - Manage Items
Note: You can find the Buy Now Give Now menu in the gray footer of the Tuition Management site, once the menu is accessed, it appears at the top as a drop down menu.
Once the Buy Now Give Now setup is complete, you can use Manage Items to add items for users to purchase. To access Manage Items, select Buy Now Give Now then select Manage Items.

Items can be sorted alphabetically or by type.

Items can be exported to Microsoft Excel using Export to File.

Buy Now Give Now items roll over from year to year. Items in the new year can be edited without affecting items in the previous year.

Select Add New Item.

Select Buy Now and enter in the following information:

Item Name - This will appear on the storefront and is a required field.

General Ledger ID
-
Description - This will appear on the storefront.

Select image - The recommended size is 100 x 100 pixels and the max file size is 2 MB.

Select Next.
-
Select to Add Sales Tax to Purchase Amount?

If On, you'll need to set the Sales Tax Rate.

Set How Would You Calculate The Amount For This Item?
-
Fixed Amount - The amount is defined by the specified fixed price.

Variable Amount - The payer is allowed to set the amount.

If Fixed Amount is selected, you'll be able to select Is The Quantity of This Item Limited or Unlimited?

Limited - There is a set number of this item available.
-
Unlimited - There is no restriction on the quantity available.

If Limited, you'll be able to set the following:
-
Quantity Available - The total number of items available. This field is required if Limited is selected.

Buy Now Limit - How many an individual purchaser can purchase.
Note: This does not limit the number of items a specific user can purchase. It just limits the number of items per purchase.

Select Next.

Select What Additional Information Do You Need?

Require Student Name
-
Show School Family Id Field
-
Require Agreement
-

Select Next.

Confirm the settings and click Save.
Tip: If you are adding an item that comes in different colors or sizes like a t-shirt, you will need to create individual items for each size and/or color.

Select Add New Item.

Select Give Now and enter in the following information:

Allow Monthly Recurring Donation?- If yes, you can select an end date, it will automatically select the end date for the school year.

Name - This will appear on the storefront and is a required field.

General Ledger ID

Description - This will appear on the storefront.

Select image - The recommended size is 100 x 100 pixels.

Select Next.

Select What Additional Information Do You Need?

Require Student Name

Show School Family Id Field

Require Agreement

Allow Anonymous Donation
Note: The user's information will still be available to the school for text purposes but there will be an indication of the donor's preferences on reports.

Select Next.

Confirm the settings and click Save.

Select Edit for the item.

Make changes as needed.
-
Select Save when finished.

Select Remove for item.

Choose the check mark to remove the item.
Note: Once an item has been involved in a transaction, it cannot be removed. You can remove an item from a group to inactivate it. To learn more about Groups, see Buy Now Give Now - Manage Groups.
