Apple Authentication
When you create your Blackbaud ID, you can choose to authenticate through Apple. When you sign in with your Apple ID, you use Apple for authentication requirements, password resets, and other needs.

To use Apple authentication with your Blackbaud ID, select Continue with Apple on the sign-in page and then on the page that explains the requirement to select Share My Email in your Apple settings, select Continue with Apple sign in. The sign-in page redirects you to Apple's login where you provide your Apple credentials.
You must share your email address when you sign up so that Apple does not anonymize it, which causes problems such as duplicate Blackbaud IDs and blocked emails.

You can turn off Apple authentication at any time and sign in through Blackbaud's authentication service. You can use any type of email address to sign in through Blackbaud's service, including your Apple email address. When you turn off Apple authentication, you need to reset your Blackbaud ID password to meet the requirements of Blackbaud's secure service.
-
On your Blackbaud ID profile, select Turn off Apple authentication and then Send email.
-
In your Apple inbox, open the email from Blackbaud Authentication Services about your Apple account and select Reset password.
-
Enter and confirm a new Blackbaud ID password.
-
Select Confirm and then sign in through Blackbaud's secure service.
After you sign in through Blackbaud's secure service, you can change your email address as necessary. For more information, see Personal details.
