Add and answer administrator questions

Use administrator questions to include information on an application that:

  • Cannot be asked of an applicant

  • Cannot be imported from your student information system

Administrator questions are answered manually by administrators. You can also choose whether to make them visible to reviewers.

  • Does the applicant demonstrate financial need?

  • Has the applicant enrolled in classes / paid a tuition deposit?

  • Has the applicant maintained satisfactory academic progress?

To create administrator questions, go to the Questions tab of any opportunity. Then, select the Administrator tab.

Then:

  1. On an opportunity, reviewer group, or reference questionnaire, go to the Questions tab.

  2. Select Add Question.

  3. Select Single Question:

    • To add an existing question, locate it in the list and select +

  4. Add question text.

  5. Select the question type:

  6. Select other options as needed. These options vary based on question types.

    Note: If you are setting a maximum and minimum word count limit for the applicant response, the tracker shows the number of words remaining for the minimum value when an applicant enters a response. Once the minimum count is met, the tracker reflects the maximum word count.

  7. Select Save Question.

  8. Under Existing Questions, find your question and select +.

  9. Close the window.

  10. At the bottom of the page, select Update Questions.

To answer an administrator question:

  1. Log in as an administrator.

  2. On a specific opportunity, go to the Applications tab.

  3. On a specific application record, select View.

  4. Go to the Administration tab.

  5. Provide an answer.

  6. Select Update Application.

Note: Want to keep administrator questions confidential? Select Restricted when creating your question to hide this information from certain administrator roles.
