To see a list of contacts in your system, go to Stewardship, Donors, Contacts.
To manually add a new contact:

Go to Stewardship, Donors, Contacts.

Select Add Contact.

In User, search for an existing user or add a new user by entering an email address.

Required to invite the contact into the Donor Portal or email donor reports

In Funds, select one or more fund associated with the contact.

Select Create Contact.
Note: Create multiple donor contacts through a .CSV import. For more details, see Fund and contact imports.

Go to Stewardship, Donors, Contacts.

On a specific record, select View.

On the contact's Details tab, select Edit Contact.

Modify the information, then select Update Contact.
To give contacts access to the Donor Portal, you need to invite them into your system:

Go to Stewardship, Dashboard, then select Contacts to invite.

You can also go to Stewardship, Donors, Contacts and look for contacts with a Yes in the Needs Invitation column

Select one or more contact records.

At the bottom of the page, select Act on Selected, Invite.
Send notifications to donor contacts to let them know about new activity in the Donor Portal:

Go to Stewardship, Dashboard, then select Contacts to notify.

You can also go to Stewardship, Donors, Contacts and look for contacts with numbers greater than 0 in the Notifications column

Select one or more contact records.

At the bottom of the page, select Act on Selected, Send Notifications.
Note: Remember to invite contacts—including those with other administrative roles—into your system before sending notifications.
