Complete Cover™ Overview

Complete Cover is a fee coverage model where Blackbaud pays the fees for eligible transactions under 3,000 in your home currency. Payers can optionally add an extra amount to support Blackbaud, but your organization still receives the full payment even if they don’t.

Any extra amount the payer chooses to give goes to Blackbaud and is not tax-deductible.

Availability

Complete Cover is supported in the following solutions:

• Blackbaud Altru (through Blackbaud Donation Forms) — Standard Forms and Optimized Forms

• Blackbaud CRM (through Blackbaud Donation Forms) — Standard Forms and Optimized Forms

• Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT — registration forms, Standard Donation Forms, and Optimized Donation Forms

• Blackbaud Luminate Online and TeamRaiser — Dnation forms, TeamRaiser registration and donation forms, calender events, and personal fundraising forms

• Blackbaud eTapestry — DIY forms and eCart

It isn’t currently supported in other solutions or the SKY Payments API.

Tip: To help offset fees for transactions that aren’t eligible for Complete Cover — such as PayPal transactions or transactions of 3,000 or more — some solutions may show a donor cover option instead.

Note: The default settings for Complete Cover can't be changed. Also, the amount toward Blackbaud never exceeds the payment amount, so small transactions such as $1 may not be eligible.
