On the Gift Aid Disqualification by Attribute tab, you can select specific attributes that disqualify gifts for Gift Aid.
For example, the sale of raffle tickets is not eligible for Gift Aid. From the Gift Aid Disqualification by Attribute tab, create a revenue attribute disqualification for Raffle. On each payment record for a gift given to purchase a raffle ticket, ensure that you add the revenue attribute of Raffle.
Note: You set up attribute categories in Administration.
Revenue attributes are stored on the Attributes tab of a payment record.
Note: To successfully disqualify gifts by attribute, the attribute category and value you select when creating the disqualification must match the attribute category and value you select on the disqualifying payment record. Your system administrator configures the categories available for revenue attributes. When you add an attribute to a payment record, if the attribute category you want does not appear in the Category field, consult your system administrator.
