Manage Engagement Elements

Admins can create, edit, and manage EEs from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Admin tools, Engagements, Engagement Elements.

Admins must have the Can Manage Engagement Elements permission to edit EEs from the CSRconnect Admin Portal. If you have admin users who need view only permission, you can give them only the Can View Engagement Elements permission. See Manage roles.

Note: If users will need to create EEs, we recommend you grant them both permissions.

Admins can use Actions to:

  • Add an Admin Note

  • Edit the EE

  • Copy the EE's URL

  • Open and view the EE's page

  • Create a copy

  • Assign the EE to various segments

  • Archive

  • Delete

Manage EE visibility

The Start Date and End Date for each EE determines whether users can view it. An Archived EE will not be visible to users regardless of its Start Date and End Date.

The Featured setting determines whether that EE appears on the home page and in the navigation.

Tip: For EEs made with the EE Designer, this setting syncs with the Display on home and navigation menu setting from the EE's Details settings.

Only the first five Featured EEs will appear on the home page. Select Reorder to change the order of your home page Featured EEs.

EEs that do not have Featured enabled will only display on your community's Featured page. To view all active EEs, select Featured from your community navigation.

Manage segmentation

EEs are segmentable. To view EEs for a particular segment, select the desired segment from the dropdown in the CSRconnect Admin Portal navigation.

To assign an EE to multiple segments:

  1. Select Segments from the Actions menu.

  2. Use the left checkboxes to assign that EE to each desired segment.

  3. Use the Featured toggles to display the EE on the Home page or navigation for some or all assigned segments.

Note: You can only edit segment assignments for an active EE. Segment assignments are read only for Archived and Expired EEs.
