Invite employees to join a group
The program settings and group settings determine which groups are visible to each employee, whether they need permission to join a group, which filters (if any) users can use to help search for groups, what members/admins can do in groups, and whether group members are listed publicly in the community.

Send a link to another employee. When the user selects the link, they will go to the group's page, where they can join the group.

From the community, select Groups and My Groups.

Select the group.

From the group page, select Share This Group (in the upper right).

Copy the entire URL (starting with HTTPS).

Paste it into an email or other communication.

Select Close.

As a group admin, go to the group's page. Under Admin Options, select Manage Members.
Tip: Alternatively, go Groups and My groups. Locate the group. At the end of the row, select the "more" menu.

Select Add Members.

Select Find Employees By Name or Email.

Enter search criteria and then Select an employee from the results.
An Invitation is sent to the user's email. When the user selects the link in the email, they'll go to the group's page, where they can join the group.

As a group admin, go to the group's page. Under Admin Options, select Manage Members.

Select Add Members.

Under Bulk Import Document, select Download Template. A comma separated value file (.csv) is downloaded to your device based on your browser and device settings.

Open the file in a spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel. Edit the file. For each row, enter the Employee ID of each individual you want to invite. Do not delete the column header. Save the file.

Upload the file and then select Bulk Import Document. A "job" appears in the list on the Bulk Imports tab.

After the job is processed, validated IDs will receive an invitation via the user's email. When the user selects the link in the email, they'll go to the group's page, where they can join the group.

When a group member joins or leaves a group, the group admin receives an email message. It includes a link the admin can use to access Manage group members.
Group admins also receive one email per day identifying the number of users who joined or left the group. It includes a link the admin can use to View Group.
