Volunteer Grant Requests

Volunteer Grants are a reward tied to volunteer activity. Volunteer grants are configured from the CSRconnect Admin Portal as a type of match program. See Match Program Setup for instructions on setting up a Volunteer Grant match program.

Your Customer Success Manager manages the following Volunteer Grant settings for you:

  • Enable or turn off the Volunteer Grants feature

  • Set a Display Name for the volunteer grants tab on My Volunteering

  • Assign a Custom Question Set to the volunteer grant application flow

  • Set eligibility rules using the volunteer activity’s types or categories

If your Volunteer Grant match program has admin approval enabled, admins can manage these requests from any of these places in the CSRconnect Admin Portal:

To manage volunteer grant approvals from Volunteer Grant Requests and the Approvals Manager, you must have the Can Manage Volunteer Grant Requests permission. See Manage roles.

  1. Navigate to CSRconnect Admin Portal, Volunteer, Volunteer Grant Requests.

  2. Under Awaiting Approval, select the number of outstanding requests for your desired volunteer grant program.

  3. Review any outstanding requests. Select View Request Details to view all available information.

  4. Select either Approve, Decline, or Resubmit for the outstanding request.

  5. Optionally, you can enter a message to the employee regarding the request.

  6. Select Approve Now, Decline Now, or Resubmit Now to complete.
