Non HR employees
You can create users and give them specific HR characteristics. These temporary users can be used for testing purposes or to include key stakeholders or participants who are not on the HR file.
Creating a non HR employee account
-
Navigate to the CSRconnect Admin Portal, Users, Non HR Employees.
Note: To see this option, you must be assigned permission to create non HR employees . Your Account or Implementation Manager must grant this permission.
-
Select Add Employee.
-
Fill out the necessary information. The following are some notes for filling out certain fields:
-
For Legacy User Type, selecting Affiliate Super Admin gives the user access to reporting. You must also include the user in one of your CSRconnect Admin Roles after making the user a super admin.
-
For HR Attributes, you can select from a list of attributes that are populated from your HR file. You can select as many attributes as you want.
Tip: If the user is not going to log in through SSO, then you should select and set Temporary Password as one of your attributes.
-
For Enter Employee ID, use an email address if the user does not have a employee ID. However, if you believe the user may appear on the HR file in the future, be sure to make the user an employee ID. This must match the employee ID on the HR file in the future to properly merge the accounts. Once accounts merge, any information on HR file will override what was in the temporary user account before.
-
-
Select Create Employee.
The user is ready for login. When logging in, the user will need to use the temporary password that was set up for them before they can create their own password.
Note: The temporary password is case sensitive.
