Organization Insights

The Organization Insights dashboard allows you to view total giving, volunteering, participation percentages, and other relevant statistics for an individual charity. The dashboard also includes a landing page that will show the five most recent charities searched and top charities in donation totals and volunteer hours for your organization.

The Organization Insights is not a custom report or transactional report, but a standard set of useful information aimed at providing a quick snapshot of activity for an charity.

For example, use this report to:

  • Receive high-level participation data for your company

  • Review trends and participation for partner charities

Tip: Organization Insights data are updated on a nightly basis.

You can access Organization Insights from CSRconnect Admin Portal, Reports, Insights Dashboard, Organization Insights. You must have the Can Access Organization Insights permission. See Manage roles.

Using Organization Insights

  1. To begin, select a charity. You can select a charity from the ones on your landing page, or select Search Organizations.

  2. The date range defaults to YTD data. To select a different year, a specific quarter, or a specific month for your date range, select the Edit icon next to Viewing.

To print a summarized version of the dashboard, select Print Summary. The printed output includes Organization Details, Organization Totals, Donations, and Volunteer Hours.

To select another organization, select Find Another Org.

After an organization and date range are selected, you can view the following data and information:

  • Organization details: View the logo, Registration ID, address, and SDG(s) associated with the charity, when available.

  • Organization totals: View the number of individuals who donated or volunteered for the charity, total donations, company donations, and volunteer hours for the selected date range.

  • Insight Statements: View a carousel with relevant key insights for the selected charity, including Highest Total Donations/Donors, Highest Total Hours/Volunteers, and Percentage of employees that donated/volunteered in the selected date range.

  • Donations: View total donations by donation type during the selected date range as well as total donors by donation type.

  • Volunteer Hours: View total hours volunteered by participation type as well as total volunteers by participation type.

  • Historical Trends: Compare total company and employee dollars by year, and volunteer hours by year for the selected organization across the company, as well as the entire YourCause Global Good Network, which includes all CSRconnect clients.
