When you enter attendance with a grid, the students appear as rows and the class meetings or days appear as columns. When attendance is complete, in the Attendance Taken row, select Yes for the completed class meeting or day column.
To customize what attendance appears in the gird, in the Show field, you can select to view attendance for this week, this month, all dates, or specific dates.
Tip: The attendance codes available for you to select are set up by your administrator in Registrar's Office.
Keyboard shortcut tips for attendance entry:

• | To go to the cell to the right, press Tab. |
• | To go the cell to the left, press Shift + Tab. |
• | To open the Details screen for an attendance entry, press F7. |
To see a summary of student attendance, in the grid, click Summary. A printer-friendly page appears with all students enrolled in the class and a summary of their attendance for each attendance code.
To see a printer-friendly page of your attendance, in the grid, click Print. The attendance information that appears is based on what you selected in the Show field. For example, if you select to show this month's attendance, on the printer-friendly page, attendance for each week in the month appears. To print, from the web browser menu, select File, Print.
When you save your attendance in Faculty Access for the Web, you save the attendance information directly to Registrar's Office.
