Manage Access to Create Advanced Lists by Role (EAP)

Use security roles to determine who can create advanced lists. If a user has at least one role that grants access, then they'll have access, regardless of their other roles.

  1. Schools participating in the early adopter program (EAP) can use a "sneaky link" url to access a new experience for managing basic and advanced lists. When you join the EAP, save the link to your browser's bookmarks.

A list of basic and advanced lists appears.

Note: Not in the EAP? See basic lists and advanced lists instead.

  2. Select Manage access (above the list) and then Advanced Role access. A list of roles appears.

  3. To enable members of a role to create advanced lists, find the role and select Access.

  4. To remove creation right, clear the Access option.

  5. Select Save.

See Manage Basic and Advanced Lists.

Tip: You can also determine who can Run, Copy, Edit, or Manage specific lists. See Configure access for an advanced list by role for a specific list.
