Manage Lists (EAP)

Schools participating in the early adopter program (EAP) can use a "sneaky link" url to access a new experience for managing basic and advanced lists. When you join the EAP, save the link to your browser's bookmarks.

A list of basic and advanced lists appears.

Security and User Permissions

To determine who can create advanced lists, use the Manage access option (above the list).

To determine who can use or manage a specific list, find the list in and select the ellipsis (...) on its row. Then select:

To manage access for all lists, a user must:

  • have the platform manager role,

  • have a clone of the platform manager role,

  • or have the list manager role.

Use a Specific List (Actions)

Use the search to find a specific list. On its row, select the ellipsis (...) to take other actions for a list:

Bulk Options

To manage lists in bulk, select the lists (checkboxes). Then select Delete or Manage categories.

You can also Export the data

Customize your view by selecting Columns and Filters. You can also rearrange columns and sort.

Create a List

You can also create a New list, Export the data, and organize the lists into Categories.

Filter the List Results

To limit the results in the list, consider applying a Filter for:

  • Type

    • Basic

    • Advanced

  • Category

  • Created by

  • Last modified (dates)

  • Roles with access

  • Users with access

Choose the values and then Select.

Next, select Apply filters or Clear all filters.

When a filter is in use, an indicator appears above the list. Select the indicator to stop filtering.

Choose Columns of Data to Show

You can determine which data appears in the list results.

  1. Select Columns.

  2. Choose a category. The data types for that category appear.

  3. Search for and then select the types of data.

  4. Select Apply changes.

Reorder the Columns

Select a column header to sort the list by that value. To reverse the sort order, select the column header again.

Export a List of Lists

You can Export the data for use in a third party spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel.

When you Export the Employees list, a comma separated value (.csv) file is downloaded to your local computer, based on your browser settings.
