Copy a Basic or Advanced List to Create a New List (EAP)

When you copy a basic or advanced list, the original list remains unchanged. Your copy will use the same settings, configuration, and access that the original list used.

To copy a list, you must be a platform managers, a clone of a platform manager, a list manager, the creator of the list, or someone must grant you rights to copy the specific list.

  1. Schools participating in the early adopter program (EAP) can use a "sneaky link" url to access a new experience for managing basic and advanced lists. When you join the EAP, save the link to your browser's bookmarks.

A list of basic and advanced lists appears.

Note: Not in the EAP? See basic lists and advanced lists instead.

  2. Choose which Columns of data to show.

Then Filter and sort the list.

  3. Search for a specific list. When you find the list, select the ellipsis (...) at the beginning of its row.

  4. Select Copy. Your new list will appear in the Manage lists results, named "Copy of original list name."

  5. To find your list, search for "Copy" or sort the results by Last edited.

  6. To adjust the list, see Edit a basic or advanced list.

See Manage Basic and Advanced Lists.
