Refund Check Print Settings

Configure refund check print settings to ensure checks print with the correct format, logos, messages, and alignment when you create a refund check.

From Receivables, Clients, select the transaction to make sure print settings for checks are correct before printing.

  1. Select Generate refund check on a refund record, then Edit print settings before saving the check. For details, see refund checks.

  2. From Content, under Payment format, select one of the following formats:

    • Single stub laser check (Blank paper)

    • Double stub laser check (Blank paper)

    • Preprinted single stub laser check

    • Preprinted double stub laser check

  3. Select detail options to print such as the Organization name, Address, and Note.

    Tip: Additional fields may display based on the format you select.

  4. Under Logos, select whether to print the organization logo or check stub logo. The available options default from Settings, Treasury, Configuration. For details, see manage logos.

    If you print the stub logo, select the info to include, such as Contact and Phone.

    Tip: The available options vary depending on the check format.

  5. Under Messages, enter additional info you want to print on the check.

  6. Under Print this on the check stub, select the information to print on the stub.

  7. Under Electronic signature, select the signature to sign for the check. The available options default from Settings, Treasury, Configuration. For details, see manage signatures.

  8. Under MICR Line, define the default MICR settings. For details, see format MICR settings.

  9. From Alignment, use the arrows to adjust check alignment. Enter a negative value to move the alignment in the opposite direction. For alignment settings details, see format check settings.

  10. Select Apply to preview the changes.

  11. Select Test format to review the printed output.

  12. Select Format to save those changes.

    Tip: To remove changes and return to default values, select Reset all defaults.
