Void a Payment in Payment Assistant

If you've processed a payment using Payment Assistant but now need to void or stop the payment, reach out to Blackbaud Customer Support.

• Stop payments can only be initiated for open payments. If the vendor has already cleared the funds, then the stop payment can't occur. You would need to contact the vendor directly to resolve the issue.

• Stop payments should only be requested on rare occurrences, such as:

  • Incorrect vendor address

  • Lost or stolen check

  • Late payment that needs to be reprocessed immediately
