Complete Your Financial Aid Application

As you complete your application, keep the following in mind:

  • Provide current information: Always refer to official documents when entering financial information.

  • Enter annual values unless otherwise requested: You may need to multiply monthly amounts by 12.

  • Use special characters only in name fields: Special characters are allowed in parent and student name fields only. Do not include commas or symbols when entering dollar amounts.

  • Hover over fields for guidance: Many fields include additional details about what information to enter.

  • Save frequently: Saving allows you to exit and return to your application without losing progress.

Note: After you submit your application, you will see a confirmation page listing the required documents you must provide before your application can be reviewed. Your application will not be reviewed until all required documents are submitted. For more information, see Document Upload FAQs.

Prepare to complete your application

  1. Gather financial documents to ensure accurate information.

    • Most recent W-2 forms if employed

    • Most recent paystubs if employed

    • 1040 US Individual Income Tax Return

    • Business income documentation (1065, 1120, 1120S)

    • Benefit statements for federal/state assistance or veteran programs

    • 1099-M income forms

    • Mortgage or rent payment details for all properties

    • Utility bills for all properties

    • Housing insurance for all properties

    • Property tax information for all properties

    • Medical expense information

    • Childcare or eldercare expense documentation

    • Retirement, savings, and asset documentation

    • Vehicle payment and insurance information

  2. Confirm your school's application deadline.

  3. Take your time and answer each question accurately.

  4. Save your progress and return at any time.
