Improved application workflows to support multi-stage grant processes and reduce friction during review.

• Multi-stage applications workflows - You can now generate Stage 2 (and subsequent stage) applications for grants whose Stage 1 was submitted through the legacy applicant portal.

• Updated applications and requirements dashboard - We’ve introduced powerful enhancements to the Dashboard to help administrators manage applications and requirements more efficiently. You can now view pending applications that are awaiting review, applications sent back for revision, and requirements that need action.

• View Project Title and Event Title on application card in My Applications - Applicants can more easily identify their submissions in the Applicant Portal. Application cards now show the Project Title and Event Title to help differentiate between applications when more than one application is submitted to the same program and cycle. This update helps applicants quickly distinguish between submissions, reducing confusion and support requests for grantmakers.

• Archive forms - You can now archive forms to keep your forms list focused and easier to manage.

• Multiple responses on requirements — We’re enhancing applicant fields to support multiple responses, making it easier to collect recurring updates like quarterly and final grant progress reports using the same fields.

• On-demand requirement reports - You can now generate on-demand reports for requirements.

Stronger data protection and governance controls to better safeguard sensitive applicant information.

• Branch assignment preserved through consideration - When an application is submitted with a branch assignment and then considered, the resulting Request record now inherits the correct branch from the application rather than defaulting to the branch of the user performing the consideration.

• Branch security enhancements - The Forms Portal now enforces branch security: users only see applications that belong to their assigned branch.

• Enhanced duplicate check when considering pending applications - We’re excited to introduce an improvement to the Duplicate Check functionality in Blackbaud Grantmaking. This enhancement allows you to select which fields to update when performing a Consider action. This helps accurately link application data to existing Organization and Contact records entered in Blackbaud Grantmaking.

• Improved duplicate search for Organizations and Contacts - When no exact match appears during consideration, you can now search for the correct organization or contact using multiple filters (Name, Tax ID, State/Province, Postal Code, Organization ID). Search fields pre-fill from the applicant's submitted data to speed up the lookup.
