Nominate Others for Grants
If an organization hosts a nomination program, you can nominate an individual or recommend an organization to apply for a grant. Upon approval, the nominee will complete the full request to apply for the grant.

To begin, open the application in GrantsConnect using the direct link or invitation.
Tip: If you have already started the application, select the form name from the application card in My Applications to open it.
Warning: If you receive a message stating This program is no longer accepting applications
or Program is not accepting applications
, this means the program is closed and new applications cannot be submitted.

After opening the application, you will be presented with a form to complete. The information requested, content, and layout (i.e., tabs, form length, etc.) vary based on the program.
Note: When completing this form, you will need to provide the contact details for the individual (i.e., nominee) who will be the main point of contact in the Nominee Information section. If the nomination is accepted, they will be invited to apply for the grant program.

After completing your application, click on the Submit button at the bottom of the form to submit your application for review. You will receive a confirmation once it has been submitted and return to My Applications.
Warning: You must submit your application before the program's close date for it to be considered. Applications cannot be submitted after this date. Additionally, applications with forms in Draft mode cannot be updated after this date. For more information about how to find the close date, see the View Program Dates resource.
Tip: If the nomination is approved, the nominator will receive an email stating the nomination has been accepted. You can also view the status on the application card in My Applications.
